Post by: vinnietbird on December 30, 2009, 04:12:53 PM
I needed a new jacket because I can't wear my leather jackets everywhere,so,Gayle got this Dickies work jacket for me as one of my Christmas.I took it yesterday evening to have the emblem sewn in.....what do you guys think?

Well,if I had a green jacket,that would be borderline wrong.I love the Sport,but not in a cheesy way.LOL.

You mean you wouldn't wear one of those Member's Only jackets if it had your T-Bird logo on the back?

I would've back in the 80's.LOL.Now,no.I have to admit, there's a portion of my life that revolves around the Sport, but,I have to maintain a balance, because seriously,I really can be very obsessive compulsive, and I have to be careful.I've been that way about cars since before I can remember and heard the stories from my mom. It's deep down. So, the silver graphics sewn into the brown jacket is as far as I can go.I didn't want silver, but the lady at the embroidery place said it would match the silver buttons without going overboard.I said "O.K.". That was a long explanation to a simple question.LOL.Now everyone knows a little more about me,and how I can obsess easily.

Where did you have it done? I'm not aware of any place around here that does stick work, except for like a trim shop.

There's a local place that'll stitch anything. They scan or download what you want, program it into the machine, and BAM !!! Coolness.
