our 84 tc came with no seats. it did not have power seats. i am wondering what kind of cars we can get seats from?
im sure some year mustang seats will bolt in.
Any ideas? we need some seats badly.
thanks
dan
if you still have the seat racks you can look pretty much for any fox based vehicles seats to mount to the rack. if not you will need at least a set of seat racks from tbird or cougar due to floorpan differences
thats what i needed to know. it doesnt have the racks or seats. do you know what year coug/bird i can get racks from?
well simply put 83-88 if you want a little less weight go with manual racks but you may have trouble finding a set.. passenger side is common but drivers side isnt as common.
ok i was hoping other year t birds or fox stangs would work. thanks for info though.
The Fox Stang, earlier Escorts,Fox Birds and Cougars....they all bolt in,but the tracks have to come from the Cats and Birds.
very good thanks
SN-95 Mustang seats will also bolt to the Tbird/Cougar seat tracks.
If you happen to take a road trip thru NY I could be easily convinced to put the original seats back in my 87 (I am going to retire it in the spring) Right now it has seats from a 1987 sport in it.
those are power seats right? or no?
Drivers side is power pass side is manual. Both have lumbar
found my driver and passanger manual seat tracks, now i just need some seats. what do sn95 seats look like in birds? anyone have pics?
Wish you were closer. I have a set of the hi-back buckets in the 86 Turbo XR7 im parting.
I have SN95 seats in my '86:

If you have the "high series" Turbo Coupe-style door panels like the ones in my car, be aware that the SN95 seats will rub on the armrest. Very squeaky with leather seats.
