Title: Mark VII doors?
Post by: hammer on December 20, 2009, 09:53:28 PM
Will a set of Mark VII doors work on my 83 T-bird?

Maybe I wasn't searching the right key words...

Thanks,
Rob

Is that a no?  Because the doors look the same to me.  I can't compare them side by side though.  Has someone on here tried it before?  What are the specific differences?

Thanks,
Rob

I thought the body line was different on them

I believe they would bolt on and operate, but the window trim won't line up 100%, and the molding is definitely lower. Due to the body line differences there might even be large gaps (water intrusion, wind noise). Wouldn't recommend it.

Bummer, there's a fairly clean Mark VII at the local U Pull and Pay.  The doors were in nice shape.  Guess I'll just have to settle for the front spindles/brakes and rear end...

Thanks,
Rob
