Title: Need some decision making advice
Post by: jandmmustangs on December 01, 2009, 08:59:52 PM
Hey all.  Heres the rundown and im just really kinda up in the air on this car.  Its an 86 XR-7 Turbo car.  Its missing the turbo, 5spd and door panels.  Otherwise its in pretty nice shape including the nose.  My initial plan was to part the car out and make some extra cash but the more i think about it it wouldn't be all that hard to put it back together and "save" the car.  I know its not ultra rare but i really hate dooming a fairly low production run car.  Let me know what you all think i should do.  The purchase price of the car was next to nothing so either way i dont have a much cash wrapped up in this one.

If it's not costing you much, and you like it, then save it.

I couldn't say?  But since I sold my gas miser car, I need something else for next Summer, and a 4 eye 4 popper would be awesome.

I'll chime and and say: SAVE IT. All the parts you listed as missing on this car, are easily replaced. And the Turbo Cougars are much harder to find than the TC's. Look up the production figures.
