Title: heater control update

i see mention of a swap to rotary type heater controls.  i did a search but my unskilled computer self didnt find anything.  can someone direct me to a post for this?

I did it as well.  Very much like the conversion.  Used a rear defrost switch from an Escort and reloacted it to by the light switch.  I'll take some photos tonight and post up.  Wasn't too hard...finding a decent set of s to match the green interior lights was the most difficult.

It's a signal processor, but I use it mainly just as a 15 band (? - don't recall the exact number of adjustable frequencies) EQ.  It can do a lot more, but I just have 6.5" components up front and 6x9s in the rear, so no sub to work with.  Essentially, my head unit would not need to have an amp, since I have the EQ sending the RCA signal to the amp in the trunk.  But, my system isn't all that special, so I wasn't about to spend a lot of $$$ on a really nice "control unit" head unit only.
