Figure this is a better place for this kind of thing. This was an old race between my turbo bird and a camaro. It was a v8 350ci. to be exact. The guy had just rebuilt the motor and trans. He approached me and asked if I wanted to race. So we did, it was my first run of the night and lets just say I was not warmed up. The light went full green before I left and I watched him pull a full car on me fast. But to my surprise I very quickly caught him then passed him, and then left him. After the race I pulled back to the pits and popped the hood to make sure everything was still where it should be under the hood, when the chevy guy pulled up next to me. He hopped out of the car and said "that thing got a 302, or a 351?" To witch I replied, "na, it’s got a little 4cyl out of a pinto". At that moment the tech inspector standing next to me pointed at him and did a perfect impression of Nelson off the Simpson’s "Ha ha". lol the guy got back in his car and actually left the track! No lie and here is the video to prove the first half of the story, you’ll just have to take my word on the rest. It was that moment I decided to keep making this car faster! the bad part is the car really wasnt very fast at the time. and I still beat him that bad.
