So thursday morning around 2am, my girlfriend woke me up because the people next door where outside yelling. So I open the blinds and see this.

By the way The Denton Record Chronicle actually printed one of my pictures on the front page today.
That first pic almost looks like a mushroom cloud...
Hopin' nobody was hurt, or worse...
Man... That was a bad fire.

Check your smoke detector batteries people, and make a plan on how to get out in case of a fire. Believe it or not, people die every year sitting upright in their beds, listening to their smoke detectors, but because they never planned on what to do, when they panicked, they didn't do anything!

Wow, that was a bad fire. I'm guessing everyone got out ok so that's good.
Whew...that one looks like it was pretty close. Great pics though. When i was like 14 or 15 a local paper mill went up in flames. It was between a 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile from my house and you could see the flames like that. My wifes parents house burnt to the ground in 03. hundred and fifty year old house. Balloon type construction home. It was a huge very fast moving fire. Nobody was hurt thankfully.
*sigh* I hate you. I hate you forever lol. I'll be seeing you in hell that's for sure, after that.
Come onnn dude it was someones
house!
Wow. Was there a natural gas explosion? A house two blocks down from my parents had a natural gas leak and exploded. It had a big orange mushroom cloud like that too. The house was gone though. It also took out half of the houses on either side of it. No one in the other two houses was hurt but the elderly couple in the house that blew up ended up dying.
Everyone's got those carbon-monoxide detectors...I kinda feel like they ought to start making natural gas alarms too. :(
When I was a kid, in a town about 20 miles away, there lived an elderly lady, alone.
One day she apparently turned on a light, and set off a gas leak.
They never found anything left of her bigger than soccer ball.
Graphic, yes, yes it was.
Check your detectors, and furnaces, if gas fueled. Better yet, let a pro check 'em. Live to see another day.
Once about every 5-10 years someone here dies from a gas leak, fire, or the like. It's a -near preventable thing, too.
I believe they do, but they're called "explosive gas" detectors.

It was close fellas. The only thing between that house and mine is a two lane black top and a field of wild grass. I was a bit worried it was going to make it to my house till Denton police and Fire showed up in full force.
Were there any injuries and/or casualties?
