89 mustang gt 8.8 in my 87 cougar (7.)
car dogtracks rear tires are 1inch closer on each side.
anyone know of a good place that sells ships ex... for a set of (2) 1" 4 bolt wheel spacers
like the rims i have and dont really want to change them for a different offset:burnout:
Well, for one thing, I've never heard much good about running spacers, something about bearing load, although on a rear end, I don't really get that...?
Just remember that you'll need longer studs ;)
Oh...if you find where they're available, would you please let me know, since I too am going to a Stang 8.8 rear :D
I was just gonna get the axles in 5 lug, and go with a different offset wheel...but that's on down the road...
i know the focus has the same bolt pattern and there are several around on ebay , i just didnt know if they would hold up to a little more power then a focus
you need a hub ecentric "adapter" not a spacer. Unless your using hardened studs and rims that are designed to not be hubecentric.
Basically it should look like this
