Post by: 1986Élan on October 20, 2009, 12:36:20 AM
has anyone had experience with H&R lowering springs for 84-88 Turbo Coupe Thunderbirds part # is 30256

theres a set on ebay and they seem to be discontinued as i did some research
anyhow what kind of a stance would these give to an 86 élan with a v6  the a/c was yanked out

i had them in my sport, mine were the dark blue ones. i think they were called the sport springs, i believe i ordered the fox body vert springs, and they were too low for my v8. also, the back sagged, and i adjusted them with the che lower controll arms. if i were you i'd check and see if they were for a sn95 vert, they might be better. at least for the back. if i can, i'll dig the set i have out of the rats nest of parts i have and check the number for you...

ok, just confermed... they were blue, 51651.77f is whats on them. the springs were so compressed up front that the fender was sitting on the tire. and thats without the battery or me in the car.
