Hey guys,
Any tips on sealing up my 1985 TC manual sunroof (or moonroof) whatever it's called. It's the one that pops up and can be removed easily. It's leaking like crazy and just wondering if I can get the quick skinny on what and where I can order the right material to seal it up.
Thanks,
Jon
Check JCWhittney.
They have a lot of universal weather stripping. Might be able to track down something there. Just an idea
OR...
A tube of silicone.... lol
Ford used similar sunroofs in the Fox Mustang. Therefore, look to Mustang sites and you will find what you need...

My buddy buys replacement seals every few years for his 'Stangs and they're readily available. Hope that helps.
Thanks guys, just the info I needed. Appreciate it.
Not a problem. My friend used to buy the seals new through Ford but I don't know if they're still available. I remember him paying a lot of money for them that way. The restoration stuff *should* be Soff-Seal or similar, which is good, because they fit like factory new and are easy to take care of (silicone spray, etc. to keep the rubber supple). I've had real good luck with everything Soff-Seal so far (lots of universal stuff on the convertible).
Anyway, if you get that kit, please report back and let us know what you think of it.
