yup same car, I like flat paint, always loved the flat black look but it's over done so i did something a little different. no clear in it's future. sorry:hick::hick:
If you're going with the matte finish, I think you should matte black the bumper trim too.
I kinda like the contrast of te gloss, but we shall see how it looks in the end. hope to finnish the paint job this weekend, the weater is saposed to be nice. It has been raining for like two weeks. not the best for painting car car in the drive way.

So who is she?How did you pay her?I don't see a ring on her finger.Look at ya'.Getting the chicks to do the work.Nice.
way to go vinnie! shes sitting right next to me, and now she is demanding payment, and a ring! I'll get you for this gadget!!!!
Hey,glad to help.....and you didn't answer a single question.I did NOT ask about her geographical location.
She is my lovely girlfriend, the one seen doing a big smokey burnout in the silver Lincoln I posted a while back. She is eager to learn anything about cars and hot rodding, and loves drag racing as well. I pay her with acess to the wealth of knowledge I posses. and if you believe that I got some ocean front property in Arizona you might be interested in. I honestly have no idea why she sticks around, Shes way out of my league!
Now a pic without the mask.I'm proud for you.Take care of her,and put her first. It's worked for me for about 17 years.
here she is the day she got the Lincoln. She really is the best thing to ever happen to me.

Well maybe the second :)

Good lookin' girls you have there. Two thumbs up for you.Does she still have the Mark VII,and what are you doing to make it faster for her?
Alright, I still detest the flat-color, heck i generally don't ever like flat black cars either. The fact that you pulled that off and had it come out that well with rattle can paint gets the knod. Good job.
Well I'm currently trying to convince her she needs the 88 mark vii lsc I picked up two or three months ago, it's in much better shape. but which ever one she decides on will get a stroker, and a supercharger, shorty headers, and full exhaust, black 03 cobra wheels, and a blacked out paint scheme.

thanks, I had a lot of people telling me it would look bad, but I did it for me and me only. I love this car.

Cool.... So how many cans does it take to spray a car?
4 1/2 so far, will probably end up using 6 or 7 total.
i used a can and a half doing the hood on my car....
It's the larger krylon can. I was really surprised how well it covers. I painted a mustang flat black with cheep walmart paint years ago, and it took 14 cans.
well here it is as it sits today. Did the turbo coupe on the doors, but not sure if I'm going to keep it. Thats the good thing about spray paint, if I dont like it it goes away!

you can't go shinny green or black and green 2 tone. out of respect for me and vinnie.
i am going to do a 2 tone bullitt this next year.
But you could do a 2 tone green fade bottom dark green and top bright green. with some gunmetal 93 cobra wheels.
i saw a 2 tone orange Turbocoupe with stock wheels and white interior at the junkyard that car looked sick so i bet you could do the same thing with the greens.
Nice looking car and your girls lincoln also looks like a nice ride.
Interesting car. If you're gonna go flat green like a military vehicle, at least lose the Duran Duran lookin' black trim with a red pinstripe. Mixed messages!
