LAST CALL.
Last chance to make offers on any of the items, in particular, the wheels before I will be forced to s them.
I would love the wheels but shipping to Washington state would be killer. How the hell did those stay so clean?!
I believe shipping those to South Florida would be Killer, too.
, international shipping too.
Just when I find a decent looking set of snow flakes, and have one T-Bird eligible for new tires ......
JMFL the snowflakes are in Canada.
But, how much to ship to 35080?
Are the quad brackets and hardware still available?
Is that shipped to the US also?
Yes...available
Yes...$30 shipped to the US
Speaking of quad shock brackets....I never got mine......
I realize you had them sent back to you that first time, but after your e-mail about sending them out again I heard nothing. The tracking number you gave me in that e-mail was in fact for the FIRST shipping time according to the dates on it.
I should have e-mailed you again shortly after, but honestly I chalked it up to more postal shenanigans and after a little while had forgotten about them until I saw this. Please PM me the tracking number for the second time you sent them out. I'd like to at least see what the heck happened to them. I know you said the box came back to you with unsuccessful delivery attempts on it, but I never received any type of notice from my local post office that they had an item waiting for me to pickup or that they attempted to deliver something to me. I work nights to boot. It's VERY rare that someone isn't home.
Sorry to get long winded. Like I said; if you could just please PM me that tracking number for the second time they went out so I can take both and ask some questions at my local post office branch that would be great. Thanks!
Are these brackets already spoken for, or are they another set that your selling?
Not to hijack but there seems to be lots of interest in the quad shock brackets. I have a set also $20 to your door.
quick50stng, you have a PM

You are correct that you never got them.
The package was returned when the address you provided did not go through.
I did not ship them a second time and here is why 1)The address that was used the first time was incorrect and a second shipping address was never provided. 2)I lost my shirt on shipping the item the first time so I wasn't going to ship it again at 100% my cost only to have it turned around again.
I do not recall any of these email communications that you talk about. I actually felt it quite strange that I never heard from you, when I know you never got your parts.

Shipping SHOULD have been under $15. If there was some issue as to shipping price for a second delivery; you should have brought that to my attention the FIRST time I asked what happened.
As far as my address -- It IS in fact correct. It's the same address I've given to numerous people here and yes I've received items from Canada before.
A PM would have been fine.
....the e-mail/PM's......

I read the second one as if you sent the package a second time. Looking at it again and again I thought that. I realize the error I made in that department.
Does/Will Canada Post send an item to the US "Postage Due?"It would be wrong to attempt to sell an item already paid for. Whether or not these ones you list here are totally different than the ones involved in our transaction; I will never know, but I have my suspicions.
I will make no bones about it that these ARE the same ones you bought.
Here's how it went down; I got paid.......I shipped them.....they were returned.....I contacted buyer....no response.....6 MONTHS LATER, I repost to sell again...........I really don't see a problem in that.
I should have just thrown them in the garbage like I was thinking but I wanted to give someone a chance that could actually use them.
P.S. They are more money this time around so that I can justify shipping.
Yeah, there's a problem with that.
Did Paul get a refund?
No?
Then either ship him HIS parts or refund his money.
You cannot sell something that has already been sold. And if you continue to try you're going to get banned for being a scammer. Resolve your situation with Paul first.
Well, I disagree.
I post an item for $15.
I got paid $15.
I SHIPPED the item (which cost me $16 in shipping alone, but that's not Paul's fault)
At this point my part of the transaction is essentially complete. I got paid-I shipped part(and I have proof that I shipped the part)
I get no response from Buyer so I'm suppose to hang on to this item forever or Now, spend $20 of mine to ship it again and risk the item getting rejected? Come on.
I understand it sucks that Paul doesn't get his parts. I simpathize with that. However, reshipping a part that I have made no money on makes no cents to me. If this was a $100 item, I would reship in a heartbeat. Also, if this was a $100 item, it wouldn't have taken 7 months for this issue to surface.
I'm not out to scam anyone. I enjoy this forum and have nothing but good things to say about the forum and its members.
In conclusion, I will not re-ship the parts and they are no longer for sale!

I guess I'll just have to do this through Paypal then.
I usually don't get into these things, but,I will say,as a frequent seller here, that the "right" thing to do,as a person, and, from the business side of it,is to send the item, and just be out the extra money.I have sold items and actually had to spend more on shipping than I thought,my fault.I have also been late on shipping,so,I have to accept the responsibility and make it right.I'd rather lose $15.00 and keep my business going with people, than to go through this.Whether it's 6 days or 6 months,if you sold something, once payment is received and accepted, that item no longer belongs to you.If it's been a while,as the seller, possessing the other person's property, you need to contact them and see what's going on if the item was sent back.Otherwise, you have to give a refund and start all over selling it again.I've sent items (when I was really late shipping for whatever reasons),AND given a refund for the buyers trouble and taken a loss.Yes,I'm out a few bucks, but, everything is good, and business continues..That's business, good business.Even if you are out $16.00,that's not the buyers fault. So,you can't pass the added expense to him (or her).Bottom line, you need to ship the parts or give a refund. That's the business en d of it,and the responsibility of selling here,or the Corral,or anywhere. You can't blame the buyer because you didn't make money. If the buyer paid what you asked, the liability is on you once payment is received to finish the deal.Once he gets the parts,he can do what he wants with them.If you're not making enough, you need to raise your prices and hope the items still sell.Demon did his part, the rest is on you.
Locking down...
Ok, I know Eric has locked this thread down, and I hate posting after a thread has been locked, but I'd like to clarify a few things:
1) Shipping quad shock brackets from Canada to Paul's address should cost around $13. I know this is fact because I just sent him a set this morning from Nova Scotia to New York and it cost me $13. Which, BTW, is exactly what Paul paid. I gave him the things for the cost of shipping and nothing more.
2) Regardless the cost of shipping, if you sell something to a board member and agree on a price, and that board member pays that price, it is your job to make sure they get it. You should check your shipping costs before selling an item, not after. This is not only PayPal's policy, it is just plain decency.
