what is recommended for these 2.3 turbos and is there one between the manifold and the turbo

Ford never ran a gasket between the manifold and the head. The heat simply kills them. There is one between the turbo and the manifold. I use the felpro turbo gasket set available just about anywhere. It has the correct and effective stainless crush gasket that goes btween the turbo and manifold.

I went to a local speed shop for the turbo gasket. They had a stainless one thats about four times thicker than the stocker and is reusable.
