where is the intermittent option in the car different from non intermittent wipers  is it all in the motor  or the motor is the same but the circuitry changes i have looked into coolcats but didnt find my answer  thanxs for helping!

I think I remember gaining intermittent wipers with a steering column change. I am fairly sure that it is all in the handle. I really think that the wiring is the same between them, but I'm going back almost 7 years ago, so I would wait for someone who really knows to pop in.

If you have delay wipers then you have a wiper motor governor under the dash. It's a real mother to get to, but the easiest way is to remove the lower dash panels and drop the column. It's bolted to a metal support plate. Chances are, the governor could be bad. I've had what you've described happen a few times and changing out the governor did the trick. Honestly I don't know if they're available in the aftermarket or not; I used boneyard replacements. But generally, if a wiper switch AND a wiper motor change don't solve the problem, it's pretty much got to be in the governor.
