any objections to converting rotors like what was done to these axles for 5lug?
EDITED:
Yeah, actually. New Mark VII 5 lug rotors are just easier and probably cheaper than "making" 4 into 5...
If you already have the TC/Stang 5.0 spindles (and 11" brakes) just get rotors for a 94' and up Stang GT. Only I meant Mark VII rotors, not Stang lol. My bad!
That won't work, Beau. You'd need 94 and up Stang spindles and hubs to use 94 and up Stang brakes. What WILL work is Mark VII rotors.
reason it wont work is our fox brakes are hub/rotor assy sn-95 is seperate hub and rotor assy which is GREAT reason to convert to sn-95 components :-D
Ah jeeze, I had a brainfart...sorry I posted wrong info :hick:
I KNEW there is a rotor that's 5 lug that goes on the Stang/TC spindle lol, just posted the wrong one.
As to the op's question/statement:
I suppose if you had stock 10" brake setup, and were careful to not get the rotor too hot, it could be done.
