what is the best spring to lower the rear of a 83 thunderbird around 1.5 to 2 in. and is the chart ok to use for the front
I used SN-95 Mustang springs.Right at 2 inches lower, direct swap.I did have an alignment done afterwards,I also swapped the lower a-frames,tie rods, steering rack, and strut mounts.
when you said you swapped a frames, tie rods, steering rack and strut mounts you mean to a sn95 gear
Vinny...were those V6 or V8, hardtop or vert car springs? I'm not sure there is a difference but just assuming there is.
Let the air out of your tires! Seriously, Mach1's and CHE adjustable's will work.
The a-frames (same as the Bird's) and springs were SN-95,the rest was for a Sport model T-Bird.
The V-6 and V-8 are the same.
