Just found another POSSIBLE 2.3 Turbo motor at the jy completely rebuilt, and looks like its never really been run. Oil is clean and slapper camshaft is spotless. Had a turbo valve cover on it too. Problem: Whoever had the car converted it to NA. BOOOOOO!!!! It had the vam disconnected and a NA stock header on it. Still had 30#injectors and nice ss turbo oil feed line that was plugged off.
I always find weird sh*t in the jy. Example: last week I found two cars with square tooth crank and auxilary shaft pulleys, but the camshafts had a round tooth pulley. Probably why its in the jy. LOL!!
Anyway, car had outlaw shootout stickers on it. Is that a sign its a race motor for a certain bracket?
Pulled the head off and this is what I saw. So is this a Turbo head? What kind of pistons are these?(they have 1.00mm stamped on them)Block is definetly a turbo block because it does have a water and oil return for turbo tapped in block. It has a TA computer that was rebuilt by Python. Anybody know about this company or part number I have posted.
Dont want to take it home unless I'm 100% positive its turbo stuff.

try turboford website...Someoen will know for sure
from the looks of it... i cant say those are turbo pistons, but with the water and oil ports for the block... turbo block... rebuilt motor with 1 mm over bore flat tops
what car was that motor in if you dont mind me asking?
Looks to be a Turbo D chambered head with some HSC pistons. Hard to say without more info and pics.
