In San Francisco for a mod motor and it appears to be brand new. The guy bought a big box of stuff at auction and it was in the box.
I found a way to work it out so that I can buy it and ship it back.
Nice...
Jeff, I think you need this ;)
You'll need the correct bellhousing for this to work on the 5.0.
He's putting a 3 valve 4.6 in his car ;)
In that case, it'll bolt right up.
I'm trying, just can't find an easy way to get it.
Seller isnt willing to ship? Heck, at that price, id set up a crate to ship it in, ship it to the seller and all he has to do is drop it in and have ups or who ever pick it up. I would love to have it for a spare, just in case.
You know Jeff, I'd be looking into different ways to get it to you. Thats just to good a deal to pass up. :D
Imagine how happy that 4.6 3 Valve will be with that T56 when we drop it all in there ;)
Well through an oddly good set of cirspoogestances, I am able to buy this and ship it home. I'm flying to LA for work in ten days. It was just as cheap to fly to San Francisco and home from LA as a round trip to LA. I fly in, pick it up drive to LA where a college buddy owns a Ford dealership. I told him I was passing through with a transmission I needed to ship and he volunteered to ship it for me.
A guy I know from another forum is going to check it out for me and buy it and bring it back form Stockton to San Francisco where I'll pick it up when I get in.
It all sounds too good to be true, so we'll see if this plan of mice and men works out as it seems.
What a great deal! Sounds great Jeff, hopefully all comes out well. We still need to get together at come point.
