Looks like you'll need a custom fabricated H-pipe/x-pipe to go along with those....

do you think it is worth buying for $40? I was looking for a h-x pipe second hand too.

You won't find an H-pipe to fit those-you would have to get one made. I would stay away from them and get something you know that fits. Check out some of the mustang forums-people are usually selling used headers and h-pipes cheap.

For just a little more, you can get a good used set from Ebay.If you buy factory Mustang headers, you can get those dirt cheap (I've sen them sell for $15-$20).By the time you buy those....IF they fit right, then have an H-Pipe (or X) fabbed, then you'll still be spending too much.Grab a set for a Fox Mustang and call it good  (Guys over on the Corral forum sell them at almost give-a-way prices),plus,a Mustang H or X-pipe will bolt right up to the headers like it belongs there.
