While true, road racing people don't like high HP turbo cars because they get so peaky. Never want to get into the boost at the wrong time.

The article mentions that the 5.0 Sport lacked the Suspension of the turbo coupe. What was different? How did the thunderbird in either variation compare w/ the xr-7?
They are probaly talking about the automatic adjusting shocks and struts.
