So I wasn't happy with the original spray job I did on my engine bay 3 years ago. I used Duplicolor spray but I didn't really last. So I had some nice quality PPG 9Z silver metallic mixed up in a spray can and resprayed the sides, back, and front of the engine bay. I also re decaled everything. I think it looks pretty good;)

Very nice! That's amazingly clean, you should be proud of yourself. I bet you logged some serious time getting it looking that good.

OXYCLEAN!!!!!
The car is a cruise night/car show driver so I have no problem keeping it that clean since it's not a daily driver ;)
You mean crack ;)
Actually I've found that simple green does a great job of cleaning engine bay grime.
Simple Green does a pretty good job, but if you want something even better, try S100. You can pick the stuff up from your local motorcycle shop. It's made to clean every part of a motorcycle, so not only does it cut the grease and oil, but it won't damage anything.

Looks great! How did you get your front brackets and components to look so good? That's the worst part of my engine compartment. I'm planning on having my brackets powder coated.
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check it out:D
Aluminium paint;) I took everything off and sprayed it with aluminium colored spray paint. I did that 4 years ago and it's held up great.

Cool, I'll have to do my ac, and alt. with it. I was also thinking of painting them black, not sure on that though. My brackets where already done but a buddy of mine had them bagged up to give back to me and his parents thought they where trash and set them out with the trash. Good thing they where spares! I wouldn't have been able to do any shows with it this year. He ordered a new set for me from somewhere but they're on bach order. Go figure!! LOL
daum looking good
Hey Lou, if "Trophy Dan the Mercury Man" compliments you, then you know you've done well. Nice job!!
