So yesterday afternoon..."88Turbo" Graham and Sher came up for an overnight stay and to pick up some Tbird stuff. :D
Had a hell of a good time..they be good people. We hung out, and he even helped me put a water pump on the Caprice. :rollin:
After riding to town and back in his TC, I realize I need to get off my ass and put the sport back together. lol
This morning we loaded up a few goodies for his other Tbird that were in my way...can't wait to see it on the road! :shakeass:
Anyways...just wanted to share..and hope to meet up again soon and hang out again, it was a blast! ;)
Hope y'all make it home safe and sound :D
ps...we should plan a mid-west meet for maybe next fall or something...god knows I've got room to host it...there's a few kansas people, some missouri folks, and even some fellas from Illinois too that would be welcome to come..
Sounds good.
That's cool that you guys got to meet.I live so far from everyone it's insane, and with my work schedule,my traveling is very limited.
well, we just made it home sith no problems :D this time we averaged 24.5 mpg ;) Beau is an awesome guy and funny as hell lol we had alot of fun. as far as this midwest get together we will be there!! gonna have to talk vinnie into coming up too since he gets left out of everything fun. even though he has all of the cool junk yards...
I would be interested in going if I had alot of notice. I got fired last week so anytime soon wouldn't work all that well for me.
They're not junk yards, they're "salvage yards" around here.LOL.I think it would ROCk if I ever get a chance to hook up with some of you guys.I may even bring the Sport.
Good to see y'all made it back with decent mileage to boot lol.
Probably better than what the caprice gets, with more power and less engine :rollin:
Ya know..a man just hasn't bonded with another man unless it's working on a Chebby lmfao
I'm pretty serious about the mid-west meet...i figured fall might be a little easier, as it's cooling off, not a lot of big holidays compared to spring etc.
As far as a location, I only suggested my place as I live on a farm, plenty of room, but the sucky thing is there's really nothing around here to go visit, short of a covered bridge, General Pershing's home, and some little stuff.
I'd be perfectly happy to do it somewhere else if someone had a better place lol.
I just thought since there's about as many Kansas and KC metro people as there are Eastern Missouri and Illinois/Indiana folks
that a centralized location would be easier..but I'm game for anything.
sorry vinnie didnt mean to step on your toes :hick: also if you cant bring the sport I'm just gonna have to come steal it and bring it for you ;)
I'm gonna try to get the new TC together and going and if I can get it done in time we will bring both TC's :D
Is it on a GRAVEL road? lol
oh yeah ;)
I will NOT live in a concrete jungle lol.
Downside...sucks keeping cars clean :hick:
I still have part of your road on the back of my TC ;)
Ahh I see how it is, us Ioweeners to the north of ya aren't welcome huh? :rollin:
he did say midwest ;) you guys are more than welcome as is nebraska although I dont know how big he wants this to be
I wouldn't mind coming out if I was welcome. I'd have to see if I could but I'd be interested none the less. It'd be nice to put some faces with the names.
Hell, whoever wants to show up is more than welcome. :D
OK, next step, whats the date??
