It seems to me that we have a pretty diverse age group on this forum, so I got curious as to what kind of music most of us listen to.
Name your 3 favorite artists/bands/singers/whatever.
Mine are:
1) Guns N' Roses
2) Counting Crows
3) Alter Bridge
Helloween/ Michael Kiske
Evanescence/ Amy Lee
and anything else that rocks
Edit: I almost forgot, Styx would be #3
the "music" i listen to is pretty diverse so its a bit hard to sum it up in just 3 names since i listen to everything from smooth jazz to the seventies to metal and stuff like that to foriegn stuff to even sound effects to some extent. anything with a beat that catches my ear ill listen to.
basically i when i do so i tend to listen to
stone temple pilots
foo fighters
pink floyd
no, i dont use drugs :P
I love Godsmack, Def Leppard, and AC/DC.
But it goes far and beyond those three.
Before I started burning cd's to free up some hard drive space, I had well over 150 gig of mp3's....
Everything from  Aerosmith to Zeppelin . And some stuff a lot of people have never heard of.
The 69 Eyes. y'all gotta listen to some of their stuff..it's pretty good.
I also listen to some older country..mostly outlaw country, blues, and a shiznit ton of classic rock. Kinda forced to "endure" the top 40 stuff as that's what the station in town plays, and I just wanna know if anyone besides me thinks that Nickleback has..(dare I say it?) "sold out" a bit..seems as if half their newser stuff is on Top 40 radio anymore...I love their older harder stuff...the new shiznit sounds as if Britney or Pink or John Mayer might have wrote it, not that that's bad..just...too commercial, ya know?
Hmm thats a toughy...
1. Metallica (Old and new)
2. Jimmy Eat World
3. Petey Pablo
I like different genres :D
I think Nickelback is playing on the shag too much...But honestly, as long as I don't have to hear "How You Remind Me" ever again, I'll listen to any of their songs.
Pantera
Damageplan
Godsmack
Oh and lets not forget
Mudvayne
Disturbed
A7X
I got a lot tons more like(demon hunter, hellyeah, atreyu, bullet for my valentine, stone sour, slipknot, hurt, seether, shinedown) i have a hard time picking just three.
BTO
ELO
Ozzie
and a bazillion others....
ELO, my definite favorite
Simon & Garfunkel, their "Bridge Over troubled Water" album is an all-time great
After theses two however, I have no real "favorites." In my CD player you will find all sorts of 50's stuff, 80's stuff, and all sorts in between from Al Stewart to Jethro Tull.
Shiny Side Up!
