Some sonofab%&/" ruined the paint of my car !!!!!! has at least 5 long scratches. I´m very tempted to charge my 9 mm, but that is not the point. These scratches were caused for a knife, and i need a way to disimulate them. Any procedure to fix ?
And for the 9 mm, is not a joke. I´m very very very annoyed !!!!!!!!!!
And of course, dont blame me about the 9 mm, Ok ?
Do the scratches go down to the bare metal?
I guess for now you could try to fill them with touch-up paint, then maybe wet-sand and blend it in with some compound.
I hate people who do stuff like that, but don't go shootin' anyone. ;)
I doubt I would ever shoot someone over screwing with my car, unless they did something like set it on fire and rigged it to drive through my living room while on fire.. that might get me to shoot someone. However, I think if someone screwed with a car I had put a lot of work into and really grew to like, (like one of my T-birds) I might shoot their vehicle in retaliation. I confess, I'm really curious to see what my 8mm rifle AP rounds can do to a vehicle. (just not a Ford.. heh) Maybe if I ever run across some $50 import that's on its last legs..
Hey, yeah, any of you have tried to use one of these compounds ? i dont know if that works. Maybe i can get one of these and try it.
Two of the varios scratches touch the bare metal, (and bondo) yes....
And yes, im curious too what can do an 8mm Ap in a car (at least if it is a galaxie 70 can survive with some body work. Stout Car !!! hehehe...)
If you run your nail across the scratch and you can feel your nail kinda go in, then the scratch won't come off, it might be able to with a Porter Cable, but i doubt it usually they are just too deep enough scratches, but if you feel it and your nail doesn't grab the scratch then you should be able to take the scartch off safely. Use fine cut rubbing compound (3M makes a good one). followed by that meguiars scratch X does the job very well.
