looking for a carpet for my 86 bird. looking for black or tan in decent shape.

Go look on Ebay and buy it new.There are decent prices.I got mine there and it's been great.I got graphite.

how is the quality and fit? i've found most aftermarket carpets fit like .

It actually fit great.It was slightly too big,which is a good thing.I fit it,then trimmed it where I needed to.It was actually fairly quick and easy,and made the interior look brand new.Crazy what new carpet can do for a car.If you ask them,they'll send you little pieces of the carpet colors you may be interested in so you can choose the actual color a little better.

I have a black carpet outta my TC...dirty, but not ripped or torn anywhere.

We bought carpet from Auto Custom Carpet for my son's TC and it fit awesome. It wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it.
