I swear I am cursed or something... man I just cant have a nice car....
Left the GF's this morning and had some old lady pull a u turn into the side of me as I was drving by.. I even went off onto the shoulder to try and avoid her but she still got me... she tried blaming it on me because I was infront of her.... then she tried saying I must have been speeding "because I didnt see you".... wow...
So I asked her for her info (licence insurance and ownership and she wouldnt show me it... so after explaining why I wanted that stuff, she asked for mine... so I said hell with it and called the cops.
She was charged with failing to make a safe turn or some thing...

that sucks
What a f**king b**ch! I'd be yelling at her. That is just plain retarded, I hope you get the money out of her.
Is that her?Mmmmmm....she's hot !!!
The quarter is fubar and it looks like the B-piller may be damaged. Ouch that sucks. Not as easy a fix as my 95 T-bird was when some guy ran a stop sign. It just needed a bumper cover but his Geo Prizm was totaled by my T-bird :hick:
LMAO! some one else on my local board said that too....
At least he won't be stuck driving an Intrepid right? :rollin:
True :D
On a side note I get to take that Dodge to the wreaking yard after work today
easy fix from my point of view.
Looks like your rockers are rotted in that pic
It's an MN12. They come like that new :hick:
lol, yeah they are starting to get soft... that is the only real rust on this thing... me off as it was in very nice shape...
I thought that was a Chicago only option my 95 T-bird had :hick:
I thought it was a dealer option.:D
Thank god the guy who bought my 89SC opted out of that option.
Bring it over, I have an aftermarket kit that will solve that. :rollin:
OK, so some idiot runs into your car, and you think that all "old people" shouldn't be allowed to drive?
Last time I washiznit was by a guy in his 40's who ran into me in his semi. Maybe they need to outlaw semis and guys in their 40's. Then there was the pregnant lady...
Anyway, bummer about the car, looks nice otherwise. Doesn't look to un-fixable though. Have you gotten an estimate on it yet?

Well if you can't say somethin' nice don't say nuthin' at all, she's got good looking feet... :hick:
As far as old people, I'm probably as old as she is(but I'm better lookin')...
Sorry about your car...
Since you are new here I will cut you some slack, and not comment too much on your first couple of paragraphs, except for this....
You obviously have no idea how many close calls I have had. if I wasnt paying attention I would have had quite a few accidents from old people not paying attention to what they are doing. (backing out of driveways only looking one direction, pulling out of a driveway right in front of me, slamming on their brakes and turning with no signals, etc...
this is my first involvment in a wreck in 14 years of driving... all the other times I was able to swerve or stop intime to miss them. this time was unavoidable. The car will be going to the shop for a written estimate on monday, then I will give her the option to pay for it herself, or I will put it through the insurance.
LOL, but at least you know how to drive... and I dont think you are in your 70's... she is.. infact she is 79
LOL,no thanks jerry not diggin that option lol.
Ron it doesn't help that you live in a retirement community lol.
No need to cut me some slack, you made a generalization that has little merit. Further, I suspect it is one from which you will think yourself exempt when your time to be "old" comes along.
Are there people from whom the privilege of driving should be removed? Absolutely, but it should be done on a case by case basis. Your statement is as silly as the one so many politicians make when they claim that all "old cars" should be removed from the highway as they are unsafe, gross-polluters.

thats the same thing the girl that hit me said that is must have been speeding. and i told her if i was speeding u would have never even him me :burnout:
thisSorry, but he's right....
I actually figured she had a dozen or so on me, but in fact she has 20... :rollin:
yeah well if you lived around here and seen how bad the older population drives around here.... you'd agree with me...:hick:
And hell I wont live long enough to get that old anyways so Im not too concerned about that. LOL:rollin:
once you get too about 70 I think you should have to take a drivers test every two years....
I actually think that would be a good idea.
There ARE programs in place in certain countries and jurisdictions that make it so retests are given to those who exhibit horrendous practical applications of their driving ability.
Hey Brett , With me just turning 50 it won't be that far off. Huh !! :giggle: :poke:
I was talking like 70+ years old. 50 is still plenty young ;)
Why do so many MN-12s get hit right behind the door? I see this all the time.
Update:
I got an appraisal to have it repaired.... Damage is $1,368. So I called the girl and told her and she hung up on me.... WTF! I thought older people had respect! I didnt even get a chance to tell her to just give me $1000 and we will call it even....
so I said Fack it, and called the insurance.
ar is being repaired... cant wait...
Isn't it funny how SHE T-bones YOUR car and gets mad at YOU over the damage she did?
You should have fallen out of the car, moaning about your back and neck :mullet:
*Applause* I don't blame you for going to her insurance, people like her piss me off. Trying to get away by hanging up, what a moron. Like you'd forget the dent on your darn car! :rollin:
Let's face it, some people are just about as dumb as a bag of hammers!
Glad to hear it's all fixable!

Its just such a big target. My first dent in mine was from a 73 Mustang backing into the side under the right rear glass.
youre getting everything in the pictures repaired for
1368.00 that wold be over 2000.00 down here . wheel
alone would be over 200.00. are you doing the rear
cover too.--irv
ps -im an old person too. guess i better quit drivin, huh.
hell if i was you i would just keep calling her over and over and call all night long too. till she would take to me.
actually I did get wiplash this week, but that was from riding shotgun in a buddies stang launching at the track with slicks. LOL... Not doing that again... my neck is just getting better.
just an update too... that molding they cant find anywheres, so I may be removing all of it and repainting the whole car, (colour change as well) if I cant find it used someplace. Got a new set of rims already on it now, but am waiting for the body to be repaired before pics....
Hey Irv, Im not too worried about the rear cover as it can be scuffed and resprayed later... No real damage.... and dont take offense to the age comment, was just pissed at the time and had to rant... still find it hard to believe I got treated that way by an elderly woman..... WOW....
SHO got brushed a few weeks ago. Girl drove right into me while I sat at the stop signed and watched helplessly. I told her I didnt want to deal with the cops since we were both young, damage was minimal, and it would be more expensive in the long run plus a waste of everyones time. She agreed. Told her I wanted some cash, only asked for $60 since I have the paint.
She told me well I dont have $60. I told her well I didnt have a scratch on my car either so....
Went into Walgreens, camoe out with the cash, shook hands, done deal.
