Post by: cougarman on April 11, 2005, 11:46:52 AM
So what kind of electric fan is everybody using on thier fox cougar? I would really like to install one on mine. I have one from an mark viii, and it is too thick to fit in btween the radiator and engine. :D

I modified a 1988 taurus electric fan, to fit my application.  You can try the 94-94 stang style fan but, it may be to thick to fit between the pullies & radiator depending on how your motor mounts are setup.

got mine from advance auto. I think it's a proform, not really sure, i'll have to look, but it's 16 inches and i also got the t-stat. You can definatly see a differnce in cooling and I felt a difference in acceleration the first few times i drove it.
