Same as 87-88 fox cougar?
Thanks guys
Damon
Ive used tubular verions before with k member but unsure about stock peices
Dimensionally -- the control arms themselves are the same. Apparently the recessed height for where the spring sits is slightly different. The ball joints for the SN-95 Mustangs are different as well. You can switch them out if need be depending on the rest of your setup...
A thread on that is here: http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=15335&highlight=ball+joint
Hope this helps ;)
Thanks that would be great. Im picking up another xr7 this week and it needs bushings in the front. I have complete 94 sn95 setup brakes control arms and all and figured why not..Have tons of 5 lug rims lying around...
Or I will throw on a set of snowflakes (yes I like them) and redo all the rebushing..
Ill post some pictures of the new ride after I get it.I havent had a stock cougar in years Im excited!
Thanks!
Damon
ohhhhhh..WHat will it do to ride height? If thats what your getting at??
Not enough to worry about. It's about a half inch difference.

Yes.

Maybe 1/2". I have SN-95 control arms on my T-bird and it really doesn't look that much lower at all.
I'm also using the SN-95 a-frames
so you used the sn95 arms with the fox cougar spindles? Id at least be upgrading to the TC/mustang fox spindles or teh sn95 ones
Me?
Fox Mustang 11 inch spindles for me with 11 inch brakes and 73mm calipers. I'm actually still using stock Cougar A-arms.
If you use sn95 arms and fox spindles, you must swap to fox ball joints.
Thats the setup I was running in my other cougar before I swapped to the tubular sn95 stuff
I was thinking just doing a 5 lug conversion..If not Ill do the balljoint swap..Wasnt sure if it was a direct swap
