Hey,
I just completed the heater panel swap with one from a 1991 Sable, and I had a question;
When I move the control to the "Mix" Setting, the AC comes on. I thought it was only supposed to come on during AC/Max AC/ Defrost?
Unless I'm mistaken, doesn't "Mix" mean Hi-Low vents?
Also, when I went to swap wires around on the Red connector, the new one had small gauge Purple, and Blue/Pink Stripe, where my 83 only had small gauge White/Purple Stripe and Green/Purple Dots. (Aside from the Big Brown/ ....Stripe and Big Blue/...Stripe )
Any ideas? The White/Purple Stripe is my AC clutch wire. And the AC comes on when it is supposed to in the AC and Defrost settings.
