Hy

Does 88 mustang floormats & carpet fit like original into 88 thunderbird?
both are fox body´s that´s what I´m wondering. I found carpet kits on latemodelrestoration.com thats where the idea came from.

Yes, they will fit. I had Mustang floormats in one of my old Cougars for years and they fit like a glove.

CLARIFICATION: Didn't see the part of the question about the carpeting. Fox Mustang carpeting will be a little too short for your car.

Won't Mustang carpeting will come up short in the back seat area with the Tbird's longer wheelbase?

I was thinking about thesame thing that maybe mustang carpet will come up short. atleast I can order mustang floor mats without mustang logos.

Yeah I would just go ahead and order exact fit carpet made for the Tbird. It probably costs the same if not less.
