Saturday my wife and some friends of ours went to French Lick (http://"http://www.frenchlick.com/"), IN for the day (its about an hour from my town).  If you have never heard of French Lick, it is known for two historic hotels, a casino, etc.  There are natural sulfur springs there also.  Back in the '20's and '30's normal folks, gangsters (scarface was known to visit), all sorts of famous folks, etc would travel there for gambling and before that it was a health resort of sorts (people thought the sulfur spring water had a healing quality.) Its a really neat place to visit.

So we just walked around and enjoyed the day and then checked out the annual carshow they had going on.  I was going to take my 'bird but the weather forcast didn't look promising so we left it home.

Thanks for your photos and if your are only an hour away from there then maybe we can hook up sometime since (French Lick) is only 1 hr and 45 minutes from where we live friend. ;)

I love the Daytona and the Mopars (Shelby Daytona that is).

Yeah you never know.  Have you ever stayed at French Lick?

I've been there plenty of times but never stayed overnight there and it would be alot (Cheaper) to stay in Jasper,In friend. ;)

Yeah but the whole point of going to French Lick is staying there;).  Its not too expensive to stay in the French Lick hotel (W. Baden Springs is high), but I agree its not cheap either.  But I think its worth it, especially on special occasions.  We stayed for our anniversary last year.

Since they have this Carshow the last Weekend of July every year maybe we could go there together...but make Hotel Reservations in advance ? How do you feel about that friend ? :D
