As of now my car has a factory 2 barrel, I've been wanting to get a 4 barrel for quite some time now, something small like a 500 or 550, but I've heard I should swap cams if I'm pumping more fuel into the motor. Also if I go with a new carb. do I need a new intake manifold? I forget if the factory has two holes or not, another question is about PCV removal its on the top of the drivers side valve cover and the hose runs to the front of the intake. Could I just put a breather on the valve cover and cap the intake?
Heres the carb I was looking at:

Another question, what does "secondary vacuum" mean?
And the intake:

Someone wanna school me on this? I'm not too carb. sharp.
the carb would be a good choice and give good drivability you will want to stay in the 500-600 cfm range with vaccume secondaries. The intake you show would not be ideal for a stock"ish" motor.
here is some numbers to look for on the intake
Edelbrock 3721
edelbrock 2121
wieand 8124
This would be a good way to go if you need the related parts

Hey thanks for the quick reply; so with that intake I might experience bogging? It would be too much for the stock heads/cam right? I've looked at those set-ups before but I'd rather buy second hand and just stick with that until I have some more cash. I'd also rather stick with the electric choke, unless its not hard to convert from manual to electric.
As for the air cleaner the stocker wouldn't suffice, correct?
Oh yeah the same guy has this posted:

may not be a bog exactly but power will be down.Everything needs to work together.I do believe summit has those kits with the electric choke also. The stock air cleaner would work but if your looking for improved power I would go with an open element. The mustang intake in the link would be fine IMO were the aftermarkets would still allow some room to grow later If you decided to plop a bigger cam in it etc.
