thats bad ass! nice!
it must have the red interior that makes these cars fast
The 1420 horsepower probably helps in the "fast" department as well.LOL.
did you see the second video of the front, very nice
Probably the baddest, until it's time to turn.
now thats power!!!!!
Their is a GOD! lol
$hit, with that much power why would you want to turn???
Thanks!
Did anyone hear what won the HP contest? Last year it was something in the 1300 HP range, so this had to be close this year.
I've got some video of this thing driving around the grounds on Saturday at Car Craft. This is the only pic I could get of it. There were so many people around it all the time. Gotta love those Birds!!
AH around here cause the road does. Finding a 1/4 that is straight and flat is not such and easy task around my area. So Turning is a good thing. If you can't turn it's over that Large embankment or into the side of a mountain!
Stuckman
PS I wonder how many times he gets pulled over for that Chute on the back?
That is one Bad Ass Bird!!!!!
Or sit at a light in traffic. Or on the Staten Island Expressway:hick:
I spy py jack. I hope they bought that thing at Costco as my research shows those things failing at an astonishing rate.
Does that paint look lacquer?
I don't know if that's lacquer or not. Sorry.
I didn't see the jack in action, but I do know they were working on the car because they broke a fitting off their intake setup. Either way, that thing was awsome!
is that the car that won drag week?
Either way, it should - it's a high horsepower tbird! Even if it lost, it deserves to win :p
That car is the tits.
What surprises me is the short amount of time it rev'd and low rev range. It sounded like a warm-up run. Did it even hit 5K rpm?
uhh, I think it went a little higher than 5k.
Unlike engine dynos, on a chassis dyno, the more power the engine makes, the quicker the dyno pull will be over.
I love watching big power chassis dyno pulls...like this one:

Sweet,..... im sure that must be one SCARY ride.....sighn me up!!!! i m up to myself in somethin like that anyday!!!
Yeah, that was my question.
I'd love to see the dyno sheet. Is it posted somewhere?
You must mean Pump Gas Drags. That was Plimptons '88 car...it made 1723hp at the rear wheels w/ a blown 572ci BBF, a 'glide, Dana 3.54 rear and ran into the 8.31's. That's after making the required 30 mile drive through traffic. Now THAT is one bad bird!!
