Here is one 'Bird that puts the "Thunder"In Thunderbird. :burnout::burnout: (If only I could get it out of the building).
More pics....
friggin' awesomness right there!!
Wow !!! The door gaps are so close and tight you can't even see them.LOL.Cool car.I remember watching "Wild Bill' race back in high school.I also remember the number "9" on the roof applied backwards to resemble an "e".
Svo 351 with 625hp under that hood,nice.
Still kind of heavy at 3500lbs though, hmm.
I'd imagine much of that weight would be safety equipment.
Ok i feel retarded asking but what in the world is an SVO V8?
That was on his '85 Thunderbird, at Darlington raceway when he won the winston million. :D
before it was SVT, it was SVO
Awesome Bill from Dawsonville !Nice pics.

Ahh the good ole days before restrictor plates and restricted everything else. :hick:
That's the car in the Henry Ford Museum... Saw it a few years ago and it is AWESOME...
In may of '86 Bill qualified a four eye at 212.239 mph, which I believe is the second fastest in NASCAR...
Yep, went back there, just to get pics of this car . Didn't have a camera the first time, doh!:hick:
Ah thank you for clearing that up.
