You should have T-bird Turbo Coupe/LX style door panels. You need a map pocket from one of those unless you can find another 20th. Also for that plastic tube between the throttle body and valve cover just use some vac hose. That's what I did with mine because the factory plastic hose does not fit with the valve covers I have. I think I still have the factory plastic hose here somewhere if you want it.

Is the plate holder for a tc nose or a normal one? I have a door lock soleniod and the change holder. It came out of my 88 when I put a full console in the car.

+1

I think we have one plate holder left for a "normal" 87/88 Bird, the non-TC plate holder, if it's the same as the Cougar holder. If I remember correctly, it's even NOS!

the cover of a cougar doesn't come to a point, I don't think they're the same.

thunderjet and JCP,, pms sent.

my car is a cougar.  no pointed nose.  Not sure if a tc could be mod'd to fit but iirc, birds have four mounting holes while the cougs got three.

I do believe I got you covered on the Coin holder! I went and dug it out and snapped a couple of pics to get you the idea of condition. See you asking for it and just found in the the shop yesterday. Its like the part and you were on the same wave length. But here you go.

It's below the moulding and angled. You can see the chrome/ red stripe above the plate. Cougar plate covers the chrome and moulding and is flat on the front

Edit.... There's a couple TC with the plate covering the moulding, base birds have it below.
Think the shape of the TC holder is possibly going to be a bit different though. But it's worth a try if you can get one

Also for that power door lock solenoid you can use any of the old large round ford power units you just need to take the Bird/Coug arm out and install it into the motor. I did this to fix my 84 passenger door. Used an 79' T-bird lock motor with my 84' T-bird arm. You just pull the E-clip carefully pull the collar below it up and use a small bowl to catch the three small metal balls. Pull out the old arm. Spray it out with cleaner and shine and grease your arm and slide it in there. Use grease to hold those small metal balls in place. Slide the collar back on install the clip and Your done!

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that consolette switch trim plate supposed to have lettering on it? Seems to me the aluminum plate overlay is missing which has the labeled switch functions and conceals the often unused opeings for the factory alarm status light in the center and RH power seat switch control which many cars do not have. I only thought I would bring it up incase there was an oversight if you are selling it.

My solution for the damaged alumimum overlay was to remove it and leave it labeless. I cleaned all the adhesive goo off and polished up the exposed surface around the switch openings. Works perfect for me because I am smart enough to know which switches do what without labels for them. I just have to improvise a way to conceal or make use of the alarm switch opening, which I will likely fill with the LED monitor for the remote locking system I installed.

Anyway,

Are you looking for any other tan interior parts that interchange with 87/88 TCs? We've parted one, maybe two, of them and have a few things left. For example, tan A-pillar trim pieces, rear interior plastic pieces, arm rests, arm pads, kick panels and maybe one or two more things in tan. We'd just like to get rid of them, so shipping would be the biggest expense. If you're interested, LMK. Thanks, Mike.
