Title: Opinions on installing m-3705-ds on a 83-86 TC
Post by: CootersXR7 on July 02, 2009, 01:55:30 PM
I am curious to hear opinions on whether or not installing the longer Control Arms on a 83-86 is worth the time and trouble.

Thanks,
Cooter

Well, unless you plan on moving the mounting points inboard to keep the same track width, you're going to run into fender clearance issues.

Also, depending on how much susp travel you're planning on having, the "improvements" in camber change may not even be noticable.

No. No its not. Unless there is something wrong with your current setup, I wouldn't touch it. I am almost unable to tell any difference at all between the two.

what both said... I did the swap... it turns in easier when cornering.... but thats about it... bump steer is more frequent... with the wide tires on it will rub the fender a little... I dont know if given the choice I dont know if I would do it again... I did it for more brake clearance... but later found out I didnt need to do it....
Title: thanks
