I was at work today and a guy that comes in a lot with an 87 T-bird came in. He always seeks me out and I've helped him out many times. He is done with it and it is in his way. Told me to come and pick it up. I was like wa, wa, what? He then told me. It is just in the way and the wife wants it gone and he knew how I'm into the fox bird's and have an 84 so he wants me to have it. I was like were can I pick it up and when is a good time and what is your phone number. So I guess I've got a new bird to my stable. If I remember right it is and 87 silver gay two tone with a 3.8l auto thinking Red interior. Also told me it need a batt and alt. So I guess it pays to be the nice guy at the parts store sometimes. Just thought this was a trip cause this was after the manager told me about a awesome deal on another bird. The asst manager cornered me later and even asked did that guy give you a car. I told him yes. He was like why can't that ever happen when you really need a car! Ain't that the truth!
Thanks for looking

Nice deal. Are you already thinking about what you can make out of it?
I'm guessing you mean silver and gray tue-tone, like my T-bird ;)
Lucky. I want a free car :hick:
Lucky ! lol
Wish someone would give me a car!
*girlfriend would probably make me give it back. she complains about all the cars now*
Is that why she's just your girlfriend, not your wife? lol not only would she be harder to get rid of, but she could take half your cars! lol
Hope to pic it up on Sunday pics then!

Wow, you suck! Nah, I'm just being jealous.
Just talked to the owner. Heading over to pick it up now! Pics forth coming. Can't wait to get there. I did a little more inquiring on the car. He had it running this morn. Put a battery out of another car in it. Needs Brakes and rotors, one rear side glass is still there but pop corned so he says. That alt wasn't showing anything so the alt or regulator is toast. Sounds like one heck of a deal for FREE!
Pictures as soon as I get them

Nice find, I recognize the dealer badge. That's Randall Ford in Fort Smith, AR, I used to see that badge all the time when I lived out there.
Whoa, all that from a trunk Badge! I like it! Then onto you used to live out there. That isn't to far from ME. For a little more history on the car. The guy Dale that I got it from got it from his brother when he was without a car. It had sat in the brothers field for 3yrs. He told Dale to go put a battery in it and take it home. Dale said yeah right! Then he put a battery in her and she cranked right up. Dale said he couldn't believe it. Then told me this car would always start no matter the weather cold/hot. All around a good dependable car just needed the space. Guess I can thank Dale's wife for this one.
