Speedo stops at 85. I can't even go back to the future :(

I've had the speedo over 140mph while not moving. Quick way to kill dry rotted tires. I have had the speedo read about 134mph. Not recomended. If I had to guess, I'd say 120mph or so.

115 in the 99 the governor is set at that, kicks it back down to 110 pretty quick tho.

The '97 hashiznit 108...... no, I wasn't driving..... no, we haven't done it more than twice.

Haven't pushed the '85..... will wait for the engine to be up to par before attempting anything like that.

My '84 though, I had at 99 a few times..... had to teach a trucker a lesson. lol

No idea, speedo stops at 85, but I know I was moving faster then that.
Did about 105 in my E-250 on one of my trips to Ohio. Now thats ludicrous. :hick:

120 in the Sport.I was trying to figure out the vibration.....it's the differential.She's got more left in her.We'll find out when the vibration is gone.

Been about 130 in the Sport the other day playing with a WRX

and

About 210 in the camaro (1/4 mile)
Best time in a 1/8 so far is 4.14 @ 176

The 85- Zero MPH
I did however run 144 in my old 91 SHO and about 138 in my 97 SHO a few years back. At some point you grow out of the "how fast can it go" and realize the "how fast can it get there".

i had it at roughly 107 last night. wasnt trying to see how fast it would go, just trying to get home. made an 14 mile trip in about 8 or 9 minutes
