i used what is called aircraft remover. It comes in a metal can, and it burns your skin! Be careful, but it works well(as long as you shake it). If you type jpc647 into cardomain, i have pictures posted of the before, during and after.

I found the aircraft stripper today. I comes in a thick antifreeze size bottle with a picture of a B-52 on the front. I tested a small corner of the wheel . I can tell it is strong stuff , the clear coat bubbled and smoked . Cant wait till I'm finished . Thanks people!

I always get it done with Castrol Super Clean! That Aircraft stripper works just very nasty stuff. Then depending on the finish you want you can just sand off the clear.
