The stupid home made wheel skirts would have to go, but otherwise I love this thing. I've always loved the bent-window two-door Impalas. Something like this would have loads of potential as a sleeper, too, and could be built to be fast for cheap.

I'm another that always liked that rear window style... The '77 Impala was Chevy's first redesign after the gas crunch hit in late '73, results were a much lighter and cleaner design... While I never owned one, I did have a '78 Malibu that had similar styling sans the bent window...

you like what you like, simple as that. lifes too short to keep it one brand/country of origin/planet/whatever. FYI, i believe there are other people that like them that arent crazy. okay,a little crazy.

I was at the mall couple days ago helping a friend pick a new laptop since hers died and she knows nothing about computers...were riding into the best buy parking lot...Im rubbernecking as usual and dont I spot...INSTANTLY...one of these things, white, no fenderskirts, but I couldnt believe the irony first of all, and in person they're that much cooler-looking.

It does NOT get any bigger and classy than that for the 80s. Blows the Town Car out of the water if you ask me. There are one or two like this around here that are both MINT and every time I see them my jaw drops. They really do command a presence and I just think theyre gorgeous. Classic huge-ass caddy taillights...chrome...love it. Full frame rwd...built the old way...the last vehicles that bear a connection to the big luxury cars of the 60s and 70s. Thats how I see it anyway. Hopefully some people are working to preserve them....
