How about this. Super glue to hold it in place. Then Two part epoxy some thin sheet metal on the back side to add strength! Looks factory fresh yet stronger too!

I have the dash bezels from an 888 but they are wood grain.

if all the mounting are good-i could  re glue them like you told me.  need the little mounting holes that are above the radio bezel on the right side.what kind of epoxy can i used-will keep  the xr-7 checked pattern.get back to me,info-thanks sal.

Oh you need those. First I tell you if you don't have them start looking for small plastic rings that look close to those. They are in a tight area and you have to really look to seem them. Cut your thin metal to hold that plastic ring and onto the back of the bezel. Then I use Versachem plastic welding system part number 47809. It is made for plastic but will hold the metal too. That will hold it if the patten is messed up I'm not sure maybe pics of the damage would help. Eastwood used to make a kit to repair the plastic on the surface to match the grain and such.
