Maybe i shouldn't feel bad for thinking about selling my car for what I paid for it. $400

Yea, they seem to always initially be expensive until the owner comes to their senses and realizes they aren't worth it. :(
"SO IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY AND WANT THE THRILL OF YOUR LIFE CALL ME @..."
That line right there lets you know its not worth it...
that statement wasnt about the car. ;)
Small price to pay "for the thrill of your life".
if it had like 20,000 miles on it with a bunch of new parts, maybe $4000. But that would be the absolute max I could see buying this for, even if I had more money.
Like anything else,it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay.I have noticed that the prices of these cars are slowly rising for decent examples.
Those two pictures look quite nice - I like the silver TC's. Then again, they all looked great when new.
It is a nice looking car. For $3000 maybe...
Shoot I got an 85 and an 86 for $150 and the XR7 was in alright shape for being a midwest car.
For a STOCK(meaning not hacked up, missing AC, etc) & extra clean(nearly new inside and out, paint excellent), always garaged TC, I could see maybe $4500, but with over a 100K mi not $6000...
I bought mine at the right time('96-'04) when they were just used cars, don't think I paid $6000 combined for the 13 I've had... Daughter paid $3600 in '97 for a clean 80K mi TC, but she was impatient... Had she waited, I could have gotten her one similar for $1400...
For the one that has set out side all it's life, with 500 cracks in the dash, door panels falling off, worn out seats, headliner falling out, needs paint, body work, etc, etc well those are $400 cars...
