What exactly are you doing? That would help. Also look over at http://www.turboford.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=2 they have plenty of repin info just gotta search it out and dig it up.

Be aware that there's 2 different eec's for those years, well, 2 EACH to be more specific.

There's an auto and a manual trans version, and the '88's were different from the '87 as well.

I had an LA3 ('88 manual tranny) eec..but it won't do you any good; I sold it almost 2 years ago...

LA2's are found in 87 and very early 88 manual trans cars. LA3's are found in 88 manual trans cars.  You won't find an LA3 in your price range right now.  Try doubling that amount.  You'll need to settle for and LA2 or find a sucker with an LA3 who doesn't know what they have.
BTW, you'll still have to repin the ECU connector on the mustang harness even if you use the 87/88 ECU.

If you would just do your RESEARCH, you'd already know that the LA series processors are used along with the large VAM and 35pound injectors.  You need ALL THREE for it all to work together.
You've already wore out your welcome here, and I gave you the one excellent website that would be THE place for you to be at. I'll repeat it here again, pay attention:
http://www.turboford.net
Go there, become a member, and learn what you're doing. It's a site full of people willing to help you out.  Just remember, learn to use the SEARCH function there.
Oh by the way, we all have lives away from the computer.  Most of us actually work on preserving the cars this website is dedicated to.  You seem to be the one who keeps coming back here to throw gas on the fire.
And learn how to capitalize and punctuate.  It makes your posts easier to read.

I will point out that most 86's came with the larger Brown top injectors but still have the small vam. I'm running an 86 PC1 ecu with the Brown tops along with the Large VAm. No Problems what so ever. Just need to dial it in due the Blow Thru Vam setup I changed to during the FMIC install.  But in regular Suck thru mode the Large Vam with the Pc1 ecu and Brown tops gets it done.

I always found when dealing with children, you must treat them like my three year old, repeat everything a bunch of times so they understand. Apparently in this case we must do the same. Most of us on this site could save a car like that but he doesn't have the skill or the knowhow. He'd rather save a POS Mustang, more power to you.

Let me lay this out for you kid, we DO NOT WANT YOU HERE take your ideas, posts, threads, and opinions elsewhere. What I am trying to convey to you is LEAVE. You sir are unwelcome here :flip:.
