I have an 88' XR7 with a zillion miles showing but supposedly the cluster was changed AND the motor was rebuilt about 90k ago.Body is pretty good,Interior is kinda rough.Maroon with red cloth.Still has original wheels and looks to be pretty rust free.

No I found another one that he can't have.He will eventually earn back his rights.He wants my Vortech charged 5.0,Yeah sure I'm in on that too.:D
I happened across this car and couldn't seem to not buy it.I figured someone would LOVE to have a relatively rustfree car on the cheap so cash offer are king today.
All I can say is:punchballs::punchballs::punchballs:

Nah, as much as I would really love to have it, it's just not in the cards now, money is tight, the wife would kill me, but as usual, the deals are around when I ain't gots no moneys....
Sell the truck and take the money you were putting towards the other one that went south. That was you right?
Yea, spent the money though, and there are some complications on my truck too....
Those might be worked out if the complications aren't too crazy.

Nice job, how's that driver's side look now?
Hot , that cleaned up right nicely!
What's with the striping on the bottom...I've never seen that before.
Does it have a clean title?
Title is clean and ready to go!The whole car looks good in pics but the paint is still py.Nice 20 footer,In the dark lol.The stripes are of unknown origin.
Thanks!It did clean up pretty well considering what I started with.It does nifty burnouts.
Bet those were for a Capri. I like them on there.
EDIT
No I am wrong. The waterfall emblem would not be era correct for a Capri.
I did come across this site though.
http://grandprix.mercurycapri.com/
Some really nice pictures on there of the history. I am also e-mailing them to see if they might know anything about those decals. Other than that nothing to report.
That's a pretty cool car I have never seen before.Thanks for that info/Link.
I like to learn about new obscure models,Maybe mine is something odd.I have never seen the stripes on any other but then I have owned the only 2 88' XR7's in my area for probably the last 7-8 years.
Bump:shakeass::hick:
Another bump for what is currently a daily driver
Sold to an American!:D Proud new owner plans to daily drive as I was doing with it.
Are they gonna join the site?
I told them about so hopefully he will:D
