Post by: Lightningbird on May 01, 2009, 06:49:13 PM
Checked out EBAY today...maybe one of the Bob Glidden Specials from the 80's.....who knows.
Pro Stock T-Bird (http://"http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Ford-Thunderbird-Pro-Stock_W0QQitemZ260403259944QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRace_Cars_Not_Street_Legal_?hash=item260403259944&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A317|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1308")
Who has the 47K duckets to make this happen in time of financial crisis.

i cant get over how great these cars look all done up like that.  IMO they look better than many many many other cars done up like that.  i def dont have the money for that, but i'd just rather take a ride in it.  i can be as stupid as my dad who got into a full out drag car that would run 6's.. no passenger seat and the car left on a trans brake, or atleast on the button type launch... he ended up in the back of the car b/c all he was holding onto was the roll bars and ended up all bruised....  he learned his lesson that day. but he still did it 3 more times lol...  from what i understand the guy drove the car to work or maybe had it on a trailor and at work unloaded it and they had a 1/4 mile stretch of parking lot which stayed empty.
