So I got to the local salvage yard early today as it was half price day. I got there at 8 am and walked into the yard. Right in front was a 97 Lincoln Continental. I looked under the hood and no one had gotten to it yet. I pulled out all 8 of the injectors and bought 'em. Each injector cost $4 because it was half price day. So now I have 8 24 lb injectors for a cost of $32:D Now I just need to clean them and get a C&L MAF and I can use them in my T-bird :D
Way to score Lou nice job !! :headbang:
What all did 24s come in?
Would like to know as well, Anyone have a site or list? :burnout:
Mark VIII
FI 460
Thats all I got so far. Certain Town Cars, cant remember though.
The duratech Ford Taurus also uses 24's.
AFAIK:
DOHC Lincoln Mark VIIIs and Continentals
460 Trucks.
I think Navigators used 'em but they might have the wrong style plug. The ones you want look like the stock SO/HO injectors but have a blue to greenish blue top (they fade to greenish blue as they age).
I usually get my injectors for a dollar. 4 in each pocket.

Amen brother.
Last time I did any digging in a s yard, they thought they'd really got me charging me 40 bucks for a set of Ford Motorsport valve covers. I put on my best 'feeling cheated' face as I walked out with the 16 roller rockers I'd taped inside them.
