Title: RacerXmd Intro!
Post by: racerxmd on April 27, 2009, 09:34:06 AM
Hello.all. Glad I could join your site. Alittle about me and my Project. I'm a carpenter by trade and have always enjoyed working on cars. I currently have a '86 Gt Mustang. My car has a new 351 Windsor that is stroked to 427. My motor made 612/584 on the dyno at Ford performance Solutions. Could of made a little more but they only ran it up to 6K! The dyno operator thought it had a hydraulic roller cam. Instead ,I had a costom solid roller installed.I have a Tremec TKO connected to a 8.8 w/33-spline c-clip axles and a Auburn Traction Lock,Aerospace front brakes w/manual M/C,QA-1 K-Member w/Coil-Overs,my frame is tied with frame connectors and had the torque -boxes reinforced, car has a 8-point Molly Cage etc. Here are some pics for you:  http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c244/racerxmd/?albumsview=slideshow (http://"http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c244/racerxmd/?albumsview=slideshow")

Its a shame you had to install a hood over that engine.  Nice job.  Now transplant it into an 88 tbird :D

I am using a Tremec TKO for a Trans.  w/ Center-Force DFX Clutch. As for the duration, I think all is on my cam card on page #3 to the top right of my Photo Bucket Album.http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c244/racerxmd/?albumsview=slideshow (http://"http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c244/racerxmd/?albumsview=slideshow")
