Hey Mike... Where are you hiding the armrests? :) I was thinking of emailing you to see if you had any to reunite with that blue console and seat tracks I bought from you.
Might be interested in a set of springs (f&r) if the shipping isn't crazy stupid? 32462 or greyhound?
Is that a t-5 for a turbo 4? just curious.
Man, I wish we were hiding piles of NOS armests, map pockets and pull straps! I have two kids in college and that would pay for it. :D We might have some blue arm rests around, but they'd be in "average" condition. It's really tough to find nice ones. Shipping on springs is crazy stupid. Do you have an easy way to get an estimate from Greyhound? We have a terminal around here, but they don't handle shipping estimates. I went there with a bumper and they told me I had to go the web and schedule everything there. It didn't seem very easy to me, so I got sidetracked and never followed up.
Yes, the T5 is from a Turbo Coupe, BUT I did not personally pull it. I can't tell you I drove it myself, so it's $100.
P.S. There is a sale pending on it.
Can you shoot me a pic of the 'average' condition one? I'll pm you the email... I've got nothing on the passenger side at this point, literally. The one that was on there was in such bad shape I decided trying to figure out how to reattach it to the panel was a waste of time. I don't even care if it matches, just want something there so my passengers don't need a tetb-hole shot if they rub against the door handle.
Never mind the springs.... greyhound wants $35/25 lb package or about $90 for $100 lbs in one box. Unless they're a lot lighter than I think they are it's not going to be worth it.
I figured the springs would be too costly to ship. That's too bad. So you need the big long plastic piece of the passenger arm rest and the little pad that mounts on it too? I'll see what I can find and snap a pic for you.
I can actually make due with the pad I have if the 86 base ones are the same, the one I have is decent but it's missing a clip. If the one you turn up is in real good shape I'd probably take it too though. The long plastic piece is what took most of the damage, the clips are all broken off. Almost as if someone did it deliberately...
I don't know about deliberate. I've seen some pretty nasty arm rests. Anyway, send me a PM with your email and I'll get some pics for you. Thanks, Mike.
Springs really don't cost that much to ship.I sent Daminc a couple of sets.
I may have found a set locally... but just in case, how did you ship them? And do you recall the weights and sizes?
I'd be interested in the front and rear springs as long as they are TC springs ;)
Hey...
The bird is a bit banged up right now....
I need an entire bumper structure - no foglights needed, those are still good. but with the energy absorbers. I also need a bumper cover...if you have one. and A good header panel. The cover and the Header panel id like to get as nice as possible structurally.... no cracks or tears....they would be refinished by a body shop so they have to be real nice. Im going to end up using those fenders I got from you too, since mine are now damaged. lmk
Of course they're TC springs, 87/88 TCs are all we have. I'll reserve a set for you.
I saw "Blackout" and wondered who the heck that was. I recognized your bird though. I may forget the guys, but I always remember the cool cars! Sorry to hear about your accident. After my son smoked a deer with his TC last year, we only have one front bumper left, so we were planning on hanging on to it. We should be able to come up with the bumper structure. We have headers with no cracks, but they do have a mount or two missing. I'll see what we have and get some pics for you.
TC header panel?
Vinnie, we have some TC header panels, but unfortunately, we won't ship them. The last one we did took forever to pack up and it cost $57 to go UPS. Not to mention I sold it to a guy on here for $40 shipped. lol. Anyway, seriously, I would be happy to bring one along, but it's probably still too far to meet.
The best way to ship them (I have found) is to take it to the UPS Store, tell them to get the smallest boxes that fits over the ends with bubble wrap around the ends, then, add cardboard in the middle and tape well.If you decide to ship, let me know.T-Birds are fairly plentiful, but the fronts on them at the boneyards are mostly wrecked.
I'm looking for a passenger side inner marker light, the one that is inbd of the headlight. If you got one email me at d427cobra@msn.com with price and let me know. Thanks.
Of course, we have one, email sent....
