need i say more:D
Kickass!!
Sweeeet!
That was my first thought!
As long as they don't do anything off of their new album...ugh.
Hmmmm...
Scott, you didn't strike me as the head banger type.
Sweetness! Had the same thing back in 1987. first 4 tix.
Got 'em 10 mins after they went on sale....
Great score on tickets to bad there new cd sucks. Guess there is a first time for a bad album. Enjoy the concert
Really the new album isn't as bad as the last....
That concert will kick ass no matter what. i just found out my buddies band is opening a small venue show for korn in may up in NH. i didn't know they even were still doing their thing but im still psyched to go. haven't seen them since the first family values tour.
Scott, at least yours is on a Saturday.....I couldn't get that lucky, I am going on a tuesday....
:roxor::roxor::roxor::roxor:
Just wait till you see Korn. Without all of them there, its kinda like a low quality you tube of a record player at a distance. Nothing Korn has done in the last 10 years is really worth listening to.
Just saw "The Who" on a tuesday...drunk at concert Tuesday Night......took train from concert right to work.....thank god I don't operate machinery. Made for a long day on Wednesday but well worth it!!! Who gets to see The Who anymore???
Sweet!!!!!!!!!
still gotta support my friend. i havnt cared much for korn since high school.
Are you kidding me? St. Anger was a steaming turd, Death Magnetic sounds like the old stuff, THE GOOD STUFF.
I wish i did not work 3rds, Flogging Molly is going to be in Cleveland on July the 9, show starts @ 11.
I hear they put on an awesome show.^^
Congrats:D I saw them in Jan and they kicked ass. You should enjoy the show.
I have 3 day passes to lollapalooza. Hell I bought them before they even announced the line up :hick: The first weekend of August should be fun :D
i don't know what you guys are talkin' about all metallica kick ass. especially the black album.
I think we all said positive things except me on the St. Anger album that one sucked.
I stopped listening to Metallica after Load came out.
I saw The Derek Trucks Band earlier this month, though.
I stopped at the black album. That was enough selling out for me. The only reason I even tolerated the black album was because it made my girlfriend at the time really randy. You know, it's sad but true.
The Who would be cool! Lucky for me I grew up when Metallica first came out. The first 4 LP's, and Garage days re-revisited EP cranked full bore while skating the half pipe was great fun in my youth.
I bought St. Anger with the dvd in the CD sleeve, and I never did watch or hear the whole thing yet. That was when that one first came out, too. So doesn't that tell all, lol.
It was all down hill after Paster of Muppets.
The older stuff is what I'm really hoping I get to hear, like pre-black album (I doubt I will get to see much of it though) the stuff that came out before I was born....lol
Before you were born...... Holy I'm old
Yea....May 30 1988.....not even 21 yet.......don't feel too bad, there are plenty of people older than you;)
Jerry, I considered myself old when Slayer did a 25th year anniversary tour for Reign in Blood. I bought that one brand new, too.
I know how you feel. I saw Styx a couple years ago and realized I got old somewhere. I remember getting the grand illusion album when it came out in 77
One good thing about being old(er);) (as I see it anyway...), is that you guys probably saw some of the best bands and shows. Nowadays, most of the bands either suck major ass, or sound alike - and they're shows suck as a result of their music sucking. A buddy of mine saw Seether a while back, and he said the singer (I have no clue who he is) sat down the whole time.....uugghhh....bbboorriinnggg
lol Probably why Amy Lee dumped him.
Black Sabbath was the best, With Blue Oyster Cult opening. I remember like it was yesterday
Black and Blue tour? My Dad went to that one lol
yep..... old again.
LOL
I think it would've been so cool to have graduated high school in the 70's. Cool music, cooler cars. Only drawback...
You couldn't have had the best car ever, a fox body cougar/bird.
Hell I'm 23 but I've seen Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath (with Ozzy). Isn't that odd? They all put on great shows :headbang:
Goin to the show tonight.....already runnin a lil late.......let you know how it is Scott! :burnout:
Seems like there are a few metal fans here!
Anyone seen Pantera live?
I never got the chance to see them ... :(
mason is stoked, time is getting closer!
Man was it F*ckin awesome! Lamb of God kicked ass, and when Metallica finally came out it was wild! My cheap ass even broke down and bought a 40 dollar t-shirt lol (I may have had a few too many.....):drink:
