Wow, I can't believe your selling it. :o
Yeah y???
Whole time i was reading that I was thinking "He wont sell it..."
Then I remembered the Blue Bird....
I don't think it's the first time he has tried to sell it. I've seen It on kijiji a while ago. Good luck with the sale RJ.
RJ....your favourite car???? You know you'll want to buy it back in a month!!!
With ron everything is for sale for the right price lol.
Figured he'd keep this one a while though.
What can I say guys, I found a mint 4 eyed Cougar (low milage '86 5.0L it is a twin to my old '85.... even same colour and interior) that I am after and figure this would help with the purchase. I probably wont let this go even if I get my asking price, but I figured I would see what anybody offers....
As was said.. I love this car and still enjoy driving it....
Well for a 4 eye... Thats a different story.:hick:
If I could find another 86 cat with the right motor, this tbird would have been gone for less then I bought it for. Good luck buddy.
Four eyes are sweet vehicles!
i know this is off topic but in your plate for the shifter where are the swers to how it down in the front?
don't sell it!
I made that, it is a hybrid from a stang shifter plate and the stock console change cover... it uses the factory clips that hold the cougar change holder section down.
I also just put new U-joints in it and put a proper 5 speed yoke on the front of the driveshaft yesterday....
Wow, this is a beautiful car. If I had the money, this would be mine lol..
so theirs clips on the back side of it that sit in the holes on front side of the console?
Car is still up for sale asking $3500 for it now.
The intake has since been Painted and clearcoated, and underdrive pulleys are being added and the front accesory drive is being converted to a stang one with a polished billet alluminium alternator bracket and (not yet installed in pic):
